Am gonna go take some pics of the road today but this is the layout and he came into my lane.

That's a very different situation to the one I had envisaged. Is the angle of the road the lorry was taking shallow enough so that he doesn't have to swing out at all? If so, then I'd definitely fight the no liability thing. As far as you're concerned, it's just a straight road to pull away on - you're not negotiating any bends alongside an HGV.

Looks like the HGV driver might have not really been paying attention, and wandered over out of his lane to my eyes...

Thats how Im starting to see it, I have no proof he was even going right I was taking his word for it. The road is not shallow at all, I will post pictures of it later to show the road.

If he still had a lane to the right of him, there was no reason to wonder across into your lane.
