Weekday evenings

I have too much to do.

Likewise!

I get back from work at 6pm and I take the dog for a blast round the block. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I row for an hour and on Tuesdays and Thursdays I go climbing and don't get home until about 8pm. I cook and generally sit down to eat at about 9pm and watch an episode of something on TV or a film. Some weeks I'll have something on one night such as cinema or an event. By the time I've cleared up and done any jobs that need doing I usually get about an hour of gaming/internet before hitting the sack at about midnight and doing a quick bit of reading. I'm then up at 7am to walk the dog and either do a recovery row or hit the weights depending what day it is. Never enough time in the day!

Not much really, when I get in from work I'll take a shower then stick on either Twitch or YouTube and catch up on my subscriptions. If need be I'll deal with anything which needs to be done, paying bills etc... and then think about getting some tea on. While tea is cooking I'll sort out my dinner for the following day at work. A bit of gaming later on or some more Twitch, YouTube or on-demand service to watch some t.v shows.

Very boring really but my weekends are spent down in Nottingham with my girlfriend so I try not to do too much mid-week.

Most evenings I just hang out with my wife at home, primarily just watching TV. If I'm not at home with her, I play bass in a couple of bands, so I'll often be practising with them, or going to the pub.

I'm so glad my evenings are free, I'd hate to finish work at 6pm knowing I have stuff to do. Much prefer to finish work and then choose what I do for the rest of the evening.

Mostly get home at 6pm but sometimes 8pm, have some food and a shower, then chill out watching YouTube/Netflix.

Either on th PC browsing or messing with ideas for work in Sketchup/Photoshop
Playing/listening to music
Gaming on Xbox/PS4 although I want to like gaming more than I actually do nowadays....last game I really had an interest in was Crash Bandicoot last year. Hoping the new Red Dead keeps me entertained for a while

I do know a new Couple who are already having empty weekends. Its such a shame.
Its fine if youre happy, but a lot of people dont seem happy they havent got anything to contribute in the morning catchup of 'what did you get up to last night' or 'how was your weekend'

Its such a shame when people only have work and they don't really love their job.
I wonder how these people feel deep down.

Cook, tidy, watch TV, internet browse, go to bed.

Friday night I usually game after the missus is in bed or go to pub with friends.

Wife is a teacher always has work to do in front of the telly so we never go anywhere.

I volunteer with a youth organisation 2 nights a week, attend 3/4 recovery meetings, run 4 times a week an gym 2 times a week. I've also dog's to walk on the days I don't run ( they run with me when I run). I'm kept pretty busy outside of work which I like. I'm not defined by how I pay the bills. I'm a runner, an adult volunteer, a sober person etc before my occupation. I believe our worth and success in life has more to do with what we give back than what we earn.
