Weekend away ? (Ideas needed)

So its 2 of my mates birthdays around the weekend of June 9th and I have volunteered to organise a weekend away for us all to basically have a laugh and get rather merry.

Now personally I quite fancy some sun so am considering Spain - any places you guys/girls/geeks/geekettes can recommend for a long weekend ?

The other option is we stay in this country and do one of the major cities..

I can thoroughly recommend either Cork or Galway in Ireland. I've spent quite a bit of time in both, Galway being my favourite. The nightlife is hard to beat and I can guarantee you'll have some of the best craic ever. That atmosphere and the locals are great, it's just a great place to be.

You can get flights with Aer Arann straight to either and I think Ryanair fly to Cork and Knock, which is about a 90 min drive from Galway city.

Dont stay in the UK, maybe goto Portuagl, or Spain, even Italy would be good.

Lido De Jesolo in Italy for a weekend

Cheap flight with easyjet

30 Mins from Venice and a really nice place for sunning yourself on the beach with loads of clubs and bars but it isnt cheap and nasty like parts of Spain. Plus loads of drop dead gorgeous Italian Ladies for eye candy
