You still get the feeling that this tournament is played like an exhibition game in the final, hasn't got that prestigious status as yet.

quite a few shots straight at the goalie - Rooney, and to a lesser extent Tevez, is on fire

Park to miss that chance just before the 1/2 time whistle was terrible - Im sure Nani will probably come on at some time (I think I saw him on the bench anyway), its not a vast performance difference but could make a difference

Their early chance should also have been put away, otherwise our defence have been spot on - Rafael has had a bit of a quiet game not probing that much the other side of the 1/2 way line

I was a little concerned for Anderson, he gave away a few free kicks in quick succession, thought he could have been booked for persistant fouling but he got away with it/them luckily enough
 
Andersons passing has been superb. He would have had 4 or 5 assists if the forwards could find the net.

Rafael needs to push further forward on the right. Park isn't an out-and-out winger and Rafael should be linking up more and putting in a few more crosses.

Elbowed a player when they were both on the ground, tho the Ecuadorian is making a real meal of it.

Looks like the red for Vidic does apply to CL - seems daft seeing as it isnt a UEFA game

Im sure Utd will appeal (but that could increase the ban)

Jonny Evans to get a run out in Italy in Feb then I would have thought

edit - Anderson finally gets his booking, whether he deserved it or not is another matter, but he has been persistant

edit 2 - Anderson did very well to get that defensive tackle in, good goal chance for LDQ

Nah he's not injured. It's probably just to give the club captain a few mins on the pitch before he (hopefully) lifts the trophy.

Just before the sub, there was a VDS goal kick and while that was happening Rafael was "tackled" seemingly off the ball, and had the RB rolling on the floor and the stretcher came on (but wasnt used)

GREAT save from VDS - thats two good saves in the 2nd half
