Weekend Football - 8th-9th November [*Spoilers*]

Following complaints by Mr Wenger regarding deliberate kicks being aimed at his players during the shocking defeat to Stoke City the FA have been quick to act to protect the Arsenal team prior to their home fixture with Manchester United.

The Red Devils have been instructed to wear bells on their socks to give advance waning of their approach.

A spokesman for the FA insist that Arsenal, who have always been known as a free flowing side dating back to articulate players such as Ian Ure, Willie Young, Tony Adams, Sammy Nelson, Steve Bould and Martin Keown deserve protection from predators such as Stoke City, Hull, Fulham and Spurs.

‘We take these matters seriously’, he continued. ‘We are working on a tennis style bleeper that will prevent another individual from going within two feet of an Arsenal player’.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are currently in negotiation with a multi million pound sponsorship deal with Andrex whose new logo is likely to become …….. Arsenal, soft as s***!

Last time we played Arsenal (OT last season, Hargreaves winner) I got so hyped up during the game that when I stood up at full time I actually fainted, fell on and smashed a table :o

Hoping to avoid that today.

1200: ARSENAL v MANCHESTER UNITED LINE-UPS
Arsenal: Almunia, Sagna, Gallas, Silvestre, Clichy, Walcott, Fabregas, Denilson, Nasri, Diaby, Bendtner. Subs: Fabianski, Toure, Vela, Ramsey, Song Billong, Wilshere, Djourou.
Man Utd: Van der Sar, Neville, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Ronaldo, Anderson, Carrick, Park, Rooney, Berbatov. Subs: Kuszczak, Giggs, Nani, Rafael Da Silva, O'Shea, Evans, Tevez.

As good a side as we could probably put out currently , dont think Neville is playing that well but Da Silva would be tested to distruction defensively I think, so its probably best he comes on in the 2nd half

Why on earth is Silvestre playing ahead of Toure? should have at least put Toure in as a holding mid instead of Denilson.
