Weekend Football - 8th-9th November [*Spoilers*]

Cracking result for Arsenal today, well played you lot. After the performances etc you have put in since our 4-4 draw I had it down as a 1 sided game. Just goes to show how good a manager AW is.

As for Bendtner, I agree, he is ****.
 
Am I the only one to hear a woman scream every time Arsenal score at the Emirates?
It was the same at Highbury too.

Probs just Wenger.

It was a great day today and a lot of us were dreading the match beforehand, a few injuries, bad results of late and playing United, but what a day it turned out to be, end to end, great play and plenty of chances for both sides.

Here's hoping we can get some much needed confidence out of this win and mount a proper challenge this season.
 
Quality result, and a cracking game. Credit to United for that, who could have easily won this game too.

Denilson had his best game of the season and Diaby was great too. What needs to be said about Nasri? Fabregas' passing is still off but he looked much better today, probably because it looked like he gave a damn. We're guilty of coasting through games against the smaller teams and only really turning up for the big games at times, and I think Cesc is more guilty of this than anyone.

Oh and Gallas was a rock and put on a true captain's performance.

When Almunia was treated for what at time could have been a serious injury I saw a little shot of him riling the team. Got to say good on him, and I suppose better late then never ;).

Goes to show that we can beat anybody on the planet if they try to play football. Those that go out and get overly physical still cause us problems and I wouldn't be surprised if it costs us again this year.

Terrible weather at Blackburn its being raining around here all yesterday and all night.

God knows how it's still 0-0.
It was a blatant pen when Robinson clipped Anelka's heels and since then he's saved everything we've thrown at him.
 
If the game was to be called off now, What would happen to the result? Would Chelsea start with a 1-0 headstart? and would they only play a 45minute game?
