****Weekend Football Fixtures - 10-11th January 09 SPOILERS****

i thought evra was banned for the chelsea match, was his 4 match ban changed to 3 or something?

also, great result for wigan, nicking it at the end.

No it wasnt changed

Spurs (before the Japan trip)
Stoke - Boxing day
Southampton - FA Cup 3rd round
Derby - Carling Cup

Very unsure of the man utd line up :( would like to see carrick playing, is he injured?
He is on the bench for some reason - certainly wasnt injured for the Derby game where he had a few minutes on the pitch

Don't know what you're all complaining about. The line up is a Fergie masterstroke. We'll destroy Chelsea with this side.

Well a get out of jail card for Liverpool today. Chelsea to completely ****hole us by 4 or 5 today.

What the hell is Ferguson thinking?:confused::confused::confused:

You're right, I'm not usually a doom merchant but this midfield looks lightweight and I fear Evans agianst Drogba, Rio is such a loss.

Carragher on Skysports :D..volume muted already, couldn't understand him anyway.

Neville, he will be the biggest test, lot of pacey players on the wing for Chelsea.

It'll only be Chelsea's fullbacks providing width for them so it shouldn't be a big problem. It's very possible that Park will play on the right too and he'll no doubt help out.

Quite possibly the weakest midfield we have put out in a good number of years. Unless of course he goes for the formula of last season with Rooney & A N Other up front with Ronaldo supporting from behind. This will leave a very flat midfield 3 of Fletcher, Giggs and Park

Can understand Fergie going with Fletcher and Park as both'll work their socks off but Giggs?

Expecting a tight game with 1 goal deciding the match. Having said that I'd prefer Chelsea to completely humiliate them so c'mon Chelsea :D

Not in the league. He's a much better LM than LB. I say play him in midfield and bring back Assou Ekotto at LB.

Don't know why we let Lee Young Pyo go.

There was a rumour thats where SAF wanted Bale to play there and thats why he rejected our proposed transfer and went to you ..... dont know if there is any truth in that however :)

(I would agree with you however)

Glad to see Redknapp still working his magic, anyone else completely sick of how much the press love him?

Since 26th of October (when Redknapp took Spurs job)

Harry 'The Magician' Redknapp: 18 league pts
Joe 'The Clown' Kinnear: 17 league pts

Bearing in mind Newcastle's squad is much worse it shows how silly the press attention Redknapp gets.
