Hoping for the following United lineup:

VdS
O'Shea - Ferdinand - Vidic - Evra
Ronaldo - Anderson - Carrick - Park
Rooney - Tevez

However I'm fairly sure Fletcher will probably play as he didn't feature midweek.

I think SAF will have done his motivational speech to Fletcher as you suspect ("you arent playing for a week /x matches because we need you to focus on Liverpool")

Which probably means Anderson may only get a sub appearance (is he fully match fit yet?)

Im thinking he will play Fletcher on the right of a three with Carrick & Anderson

Ronaldo to play more advanced on the right Rooney Left and Berbatov up front. However after last weeks performance I would love to see Tevez terrorising their back 4

Ferguson let those comments come out, he doesn't let player interviews whether it's video or written be released without his say so (especially when the source is MUTV) which is why none of us ever got seeing Roy Keane's analysis of our players 3 years ago. :(

Any predictions on tomorrow?

VDS
O'Shea Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Park Carrick Fletcher Ronaldo
Tevez Rooney

It's really tough picking the midfield, Anderson and Giggs could start, but I'd say it's more likely Anderson will be on the bench, Park will almost definitely start. Berbatov should be dropped to the bench and Tevez given a start. There are so many combinations in central midfield for us. One thing is for sure, Scholes won't be starting.

It should be a good game, but we all know how these early kickoffs can go and that's boring boring boring.

I would doubt he let the comment come out as when I worked at a certain club in the Prem the mananger had very little to do with what was on the webistes until after the event. They don't have time to read everything before it's printed and usually trust the guy publishing the stories. No doubt whoever it was got a bit of a kicking.

It should be a good game. United can afford to loose and Liverpool can't so hopefully it should be fairly open and attacking stuff from both sides.

It's quite different at Man Utd, nearly everything goes through Ferguson. The bosses at Man Utd and staff writers, etc know better than to publish or release things without a final nod or acknowledgement of Ferguson. It gave him a talking point in the press conference today and will probably go on to intensify the atmosphere at Old Trafford tomorrow between the fans. I'm really looking forward to it, I just hope it's an entertaining game and not a cagey affair.

Tough game for Arsenal. A lot of tired players after Wednesday's 120 minutes, and whilst Adebayor may be back, he's unlikely to start. Drunkenmaster's favourite player Alex Song will probably come back into the starting line-up, Arshavin will be fully up for it, and hopefully can bag his first goal, and Fabregas will still be sorely missed.

I hope we stuff 'em, purely because Sam Allardyce = angryface.

Also, I have an outside bet on Kolo Toure whipping out the nightstick and slyly laying Gallas out at some point during the match.

cant see what all this fuss is about rooney 'hating' liverpool. Everyone knows this and that's a facht.
Aye, it's like people aren't allowed to hate in football anymore. Everyone knows that "hate" doesn't automatically equate to gangland drive-bys and ultra hooliganism, it's just a part of the rivalries. Everton and Liverpool "hate" one another. Liverpool and Man United "hate" one another. Tottenham and Arsenal etc etc. Big deal.

Im not having that...match reports on the website are all read by fergie before they appear on the site? How does he do that while they are in Russia say and the report needs to go on or news breaks

Sure, he will feed a lot of stories to the site but on the whole it goes on without the manager seeing it.

Player interviews within the club.

I think the whole Rooney thing hating Liverpool is just to stir the fans a bit as the hype usually doesn't live upto the reality. Nobody was making a fuss a few years ago when Gerrards biography was serialised in one of the red tops. He said pretty much the same that he was brought up to hate Utd even though Bryan Robson was one of his heroes. Once again the press trying to make a dogs dinner out of nothing

This is going to be a tough, 120 mins away on Wednesday to face a side that's going to be really physical. Walrus **** hasn't got a bad record against us mostly due to instructing his players to kick seven shades of crap out of us..sorry..by being "physical".

Quite annoyed that Eduardo's injured again, though in all honesty, it's probably a good thing not to feature against the type of match tomorrow's will be. I'd like to see Walcott start and do something, especially since he was almost non-existant against Roma.
