I have to agree with Andy Gray, the sending off had no effect on the match, as Liverpool looked very comfortable at the time.

Seriously struggle to believe you 'support' Utd (do you?).

Rio has been the only United defender to not make a mistake leading to a goal? I think he's been fine today.

He hasn't played well, neither Rio or Vidic did.

Oh well Utd played terrible, all penalties were correct, red was correct. Interesting season now!

Awful, absolutely awful. Uncharacteristic mistakes they may be, but 4 in 1 game, jesus.

Full credit to Liverpool for taking the chances, they were very good in front of goal, but what a poor defensive performance from a team that went so long without concedeing..

Liverpool gave them a right drubbing, and after their match with Real is anyone surprised? Unfortunately for them, it may be a case of too little too late in the premiership.

It was a straight red so 3 match ban for Vidic! He had a terrible game though! Evans will be a more than decent replacement, so it shouldnt matter.

Good performance by Liverpool, 2 bad mistakes from Vidic cost us the game. I will forgive him though as he has been a rock for the rest of the games this season!

1 Game will not lose us the title. 4 points ahead still with a game in hand, just had a big wake up call, if we lose this title then I will eat my hat!

Tbh, I had a sneaky feeling we'd get a result today, too many United players were in the media giving the impression the result was a fouregone conclusion.

Mind I certainly couldnt have fourcast this kind of result.

Really nice result for us, some shocking play defensively by both sides but a really nice result. I still think the title is utds, I just cant see them losing 3 more matches before the end of the season (or indeed us winning all of ours) but as a standalone result , very nice.
