Weekend Football **SPOILERS** 14-16 March

4-0 Get in there Arsenal...about bloody time we annihilated a team...when was the last time we scored that many goals lol.

Great result for Arsenal....looks like signing Arvashin has been the best thing Wenger has done all season:p.

Now just hope that Tottenham get a result against Aston Villa...as much as i despise Tottenham myself...ill be hoping they get a result from their match tommorrow.

Good result for Arsenal today, dunno what Big Sam was thinking though, 7 defenders in our starting 11 :(. You just can't sit in front of your goal and hope a team like Arsenal miss every shot. Just wasn't going to happen.

Arshavin is looking quality for you guys though. Wish we could afford and attract players of his calibre :p.

How ironic, turning to your most hated rivals to do you a favour..

We should stuff those over-priced piles of crap that are Tottenham. However, this is Villa we're talking about. We beat Arsenal away, but lose at home to Middlesbrough.

While we're having a good season, and I'll be pretty happy regardless of where we finish, it annoys me to the back teeth that we tend to struggle against teams we should be walking over. Arsenal fans should sympathise, you've been there all season :D

Absoltely awesome performance from Arsenal, that was soo good. Arshavin is the best player in the world! :D I'm so so so sos oso soso happy he came to Arsenal. If Fab stays next season, Arsenal have a real, real chance to challenge for everything. The attacking options are now on level (maybe better?) than Man Utd's. I thought Song was class, again. He's not exactly the same style as Flamini was, but if he carries on progressing then he could do the job nearly as well as Flamini did. The defence are still quite far from being rock solid so maybe some summer investment to improve that, but they're not doing too bad at all and Toure is starting to find his form again which has been lost for over a year. Excellent stuff and if Arsenal continue to play that well (I still have big doubts) then it doesn't matter what Villa do, they won't stay ahead of Arsenal, but as I said this could so easily be a one off and next week Arsenal could struggle. Up to them now. Oh yeah, Eboue is the new Henry.

On the game earlier, I have said recently that Liverpool keep coming up against teams that are on bad days, but after earlier I'm starting to think Liverpool are the reason for this. They defend so well that it's nigh on impossible to look good against them, and now they've found some goals they're really becoming a force. Two excellent results in a row and if Man Utd slip up against Villa (I hope not) then there could be some real pressure on them. Shaping up to be more interesting than we thought it would be.

Dont worry DM will be along shortly to burst your bubble:p

I think your lot should do allright once all the crocks are back, problem how many of those crocks will stay fit for a long enough time for Arsenal to have a real crack.

Its a strong squad once they are all back tbh, very strong.

I listened to the first half of the Pool v Utd match on the radio and the first 15 minutes I thought that was it, Utd were going to stuff us into next week but what a turn around.

Cracking game by the pool who appear to have finally found their form - possibly a little too late in the season. Yes, the opposition may not of been on top form but even if they were I don't think they would have won, Pool were ready for this one!

YNWA :D

I'd congratulate Liverpool, but, you know, really, Man Utd aren't the force in the Premiership they used to be. Last week they'd have thrashed the scousers easily, but they're so obviously a fading star now. The Premiership isn't the league it used to be.

Sir Alex - what you doing on the forum????

;)

Urgh.

I'm starting to wish United had won.

Their arrogance and expectancy of winning todays game meant they wouldn't have gone on about it for long.

I'm guessing we'll hear about this from Liverpool fans for weeks and months to come. :(

:( I started off today soooo excited to watch United, but my god what an awful game!!!!!

I simply cannot defend united's performance today other than to say l'pool took all their great chances and spanked us!! :'(

Atleast I touched the ball!!! Brother-In-Law caught it twice! in one match! He dropped it for me to kick and I hit the fence, felt a right **** haha.

You can have your day l'pool but 4 cups are still up for our grabs!
