Weekend Football Thread. *spoilers* 26/27 Sept

this might be a long shot, but do any of you know of any websites where you can view a timeline of each league for each year gone by? (EG if i wanted to view december 2006 i could slide a bar to that date and see what the leagues were like then?)
 
Ref in the Liverpool game's having a shocker. Blowing for every tackle, just missed a Liverpool penalty then gave Hull a throw in after it deflected off one of their players.
 
Not having a go at Liverpool and I do like Benitez (and think he's massively improved Liverpool) but....does anyone else think Torres deserves to be in a better team? He's arguably the best striker in the world and could play for any team he wanted. He would've been a perfect replacement for Eto'o at Barcelona.

Would love to see possession stats for this game, Stoke seem to have well and truely parked the bus.
