The Coca-Cola Football League Championship
Newcastle v Leicester, 19:45
Peterborough v Crystal Palace, 17:15

Could really do with a win tomorrow, hopefuly Cesc will be fit. Having a 100% record after 3 games with Man U only on 6 points after 4 will be a very good start. Especially with Liverpool starting so poorly, tricky away game at Bolton for them ;).

Going to be tough for us to make it 7 wins out of 7.

Colchester 3rd, three points behind us. Hopefully we can grind out a result, we never look anything near as good away as we are at Elland Road unfortunately :(

Well i think we have to bounce back and win we cant afford a loss or a draw in my view, A win will give us some confidence back.

Hopefully Torres will score but he needs to just have a game were he doesnt want to punch the ref/defender may help him also lol. If benayoun starts i think he could get a goal this time =)

Agreed, but a win against Colchester is important. We do need to grind it out. I think Snods, Becks and Bechs should have the firepower. I'm liking Doyle so far too.

Nah he's out, been reported on SSN today.

I wouldn't be surprised if he made a miraculous recovery though ;)

Wouldn't be even close to surprising, thing is preseason I assumed Utd would have bought more quality to replace Ronaldo and I thought they'd have gotten Owen some form with Rooney/Valencia on the wings and a decent DM.

I wouldn't have fancied our chances to hold out defensively with Song/Denilson and maybe even Diaby playing, but frankly I've not been hugely impressed with Utd, their midfield is much weaker than it was, Arshavin being so damn good and hopefully a very strong right side of Eboue and Sagna I half fancy our chances.

But thats largely because I don't have a clue, at all, who Utd will start in their team, almost anywhere tbh.

Beinteresting to see what midfield United pick against arsenal. I'd personally drop Carrick, he's been poor so far. Our best midfield at the moment is probably :-

Nani Giggs Fletcher Valencia

though Fergie does have the habit of putting Park in for these big games due to workrate, but with Fabregas out, Arsenal will not retain possession as well so I'd rather player two out and out wingers to get the game won.

Expect Eduardo to hurl himself to the floor if he comes within 2 yards of Vidic.

to be honest, i reckon you'll come away with at least a point against colchester tomorrow. they've looked impressive away this season, but have scraped their wins at home. plus your forward line is looking the best in league one this season. good luck.

I would expect something along the lines of:

Foster
Neville Evans Vidic Evra
Valencia Fletcher * Nani
Rooney Berbatov

I don't know who SAF will go with alongside Fletcher (in the * position), pick anyone from Scholes/Giggs/Anderson. Personally I would go with Anderson as although he's not been great recently, he normally does well against Arsenal.
