Very pleased with the win. Bolton away is never an easy fixture and in the end we won fairly convincingly.

Could have scored 5 or 6, some very easy chances missed.

Apart from a dodgy 25 minutes in the second half I thought everyone played quite well. Having said that, Keane still looks like he's trying too hard to impress but his overall contribution to the team is fantastic. Just needs to be a bit more selfish and less cocky in front of goal and he'll be fine.

Loads of chances in that game, ok for the neutral but all in all well controlled by 'Pool towards the end.

Some good saves, but more terrible misses. Some woeful ones by 'Pool.

Its the same every game, always missing atleast 2-3 chances that should be getting buried. Hopefully Torres will sort that out in the next few weeks.

Played well in the first half, using the whole width of the pitch well, but Bolton didnt do themselves any favours by sitting that deep.

Torres is class, bit rusty though, needs a full 90 minutes behind him.

Anyone else think Gerrards been lacking confidence lately? He hasn't been his usual self for awhile now, but he's still got it when it counts.

Alsonso I think has been one of our best players this season. He's really stepped up his level to what he should always be like.

Probably just a case of having to play with Keane. They both like to play in the same area of the pitch and they haven't had enough games to get on the same wavelength. With Torres back in the team expect him to shine once more.
