OK so my DVI-D leads and well all I have noticed so far is that films look more....cinematic...but thats good...no more letter box mode lol...plus the 29inch lg holds Full resolution with actual readable text instead of that awful pink flickering

so thanx for the help everyone :)

Right, this monitor seems to be the best one I have had so far, there is some bleed/glow but to my eyes, it isn't that noticeable and just within acceptable terms, as usual, the camera makes it look worse than it really is.

The top left in real life isn't anywhere as noticeable as the photo.

So I think I will keep this for now and just keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get any worse.

Will do a brief review of this too since there are no reviews on it except linus youtube video.

No dead pixels either.


On a separate note, think I am going to get rid of the dell u2311h, having only used 1 monitor the last few weeks, I haven't really missed dual monitors tbh plus it looks a bit silly having the u2311h in portrait mode lol
 
Just how some films are shot :) Majority of mine work fine with the 21.9 aspect ratio.

You can always zoom in a bit, which works quite well with most films.
