I'm an Arsenal fan, and as much as I love watching them play proper football I'm frustrated with the results. We just can't seem to score at the moment. :(

It could be that Newcastle sat behind the ball like everyone playing Arsenal does? but it might not be the case, I'll wait until MOTD tonight until I'l make judgement.

Adebayor is a total waste of time in my opinion, he isnt at Arsenal's standard. I think if it wasnt for him scoring at Man Utd, most Arsenal fans wouldnt like him.

We dont have a plan B, but then changing our style of play would be boring, and so I dont know if I want them to change.

I dunno... :confused:

Tbh he could propbably cross better than Pennant though

Gonzalez was the worst player on the pitch by a mile. He must have had 20 crosses and all were terrible.
 
Pennant didn't play well but Gonzalez wasted so many opportunities to put balls in the box, half his crosses (particuarly corners) didn't get off the ground let alone come close to beating the first man.
 
Loving the fact Bellamy is having a howler, in the words of Keegan... LOVIN IT'!!!! Said at the start of the season he wouldn't replicate last season.

I'm a Rovers fan by the way.
 
I'm trying very hard not to compare Gonzalez to Nunez but he's doing very little to help his cause. Yes he's had a bad injury and he's not playing regularly but he's got to make the most of the chances he's being given and I don't think he is. Whether that's down to the style of football we play or not is debatable. As it is, unless he makes a dramatic improvement during the second half of the season I can't see him with us next year. I just hope Kewell doesn't suffer any more setbacks as I was very impressed with him at times last year and feel we really miss him on the left.

Does anyone know what this rumors about Stevie G are? On the five-live phone-in people kept mentioning some rumors that are going to 'surface soon'. Anyone shed some light?
 
Any Stevie G rumours, i wouldn't bother reading. He is happy with us and doesn't want to leave. Anti Scouse media trying to stur trouble

No the guy (radio 5 phone-in guy) seemed to suggest it was different to that - family problems or something. He said they would come to light soon, as if they werent the standard transfer rumors. Its got me pretty perplexed :confused:

Well, all i'm aware of was his kid (Lexy?) was involved in a meningitis scare?
 
Put it this way, as a Man Utd fan I feel sorry for Gerrard a little bit, it's that bad. I'm not surprised he hasn't shown any form this season. I think he'll be out of England within a year if the whole thing gets printed.

Theyre stores about what his missus has been up to and him questioning if hes the father of one of his kids afaik. Compared to the ones about John Terry he's got nothing to worry about.

Could shed plenty but would risk getting sued. And losing my job.

Best way is to ignore it till it happens, every man and his dog is trying to rationalise why liverpool are playing pants at the moment.

Some put it down to Stevie and his personal life. Some put it down to Rafa and his squad rotation. Some put it down to infighting amonst the squad.

I put it down to the fact that we aren't actually that good a team.
 
AFAIK there is a video of Gerrards wife doing the dirty with two men and he's worried his child might not really be his child. :eek: To be honest though it sounds very dubious, I think it has been floating around for a while now so if it were true it would have probably already surfaced. :)
