Weekly Playstation Store Update thread

Tried the R&C Ratchet demo last night but only briefly and it looked and played much the same as the first two but nothing wrong there and I will buy this game anyway.
 
I've not bothered with them up until now, but for some reason I'd failed to make the Insomniac connection between R&C and the once great Spyro the Dragon.
I'll give the demos the attention they deserve.
 
Does anyone know if the Clank demo is the same as the R&C one that's been on the US store already? Don't really want to download 2.5GB only to find out I've played it already!

I think a good indication of when it's coming will be when the disc based versions start working because as far as I know the PSN releases just contain the original disc image and have no modifications. My platinum version doesn't work (I know some people have a version that does but even that seems inconsistent) and the original 'black' release doesn't either.

I would guess then it's at least one firmware update away; maybe a christmas release if we're lucky.

Interesting. So you think that it will be released on PSN then? If it is going to be that is great news.

Can't find disk one of my old copy but from what you've said I guess that doesn't matter anyway!
 
Just had the square-enix newsletter through and it says that one of my favourite games ever is coming out on the PSN this thursday, yup

VAGRANT STORY

Was 1 of my fav games as well, had 2 copies of it, was a shame they never made a sequel, was talk about some years back for the sequel on the ps2, but dont think it got off the ground.
 
Get demos for all the PS3 exclusives you've been missing out on :p (Killzone 2, Uncharted, Resistance off the top of my head).

Also get Vidzone and F@H if either of those float your boat!

If you ever decide to give Mirror's Edge a try (it can be found for about £6 these days, highly recommended imo) then the Pure time trials can be downloaded for free. They are really excellent.
