While I remember on PSN the original Resistance map packs are now free to download - may not be that well populate online, but free is free...

I think it was £12.99 full price - WipeoutHD

Just checked and WipeoutHD was £11.99 at release - didnt know I got it for a bargain back then - easily worthwhile purchase...

Not overly impressed with WOHD so far... looks and sounds very good, but the vehicles feel really "floaty". And I'm finding it difficult finishing higher than 6th place :o
 
Its cos your crap - no seriously (it is :p), WipeoutHD is one of the most unforgiving games - if you are perfect and hit everything you just wont place well...

Ive got elite golds for the first few campaigns but then it really starts getting v hard - just quit before you throw your DS3...

you do have the assist turned off yeah? it feels strange with it on.. but then it gets harder still with it off. It is the best game for the price ive had on ps3 to date imo. Really well made game and lovely to play.

SAme here, I would love the game if it would be slightly easier, I just can't find the patience to do every race 20 times before getting in the top three.

Stick at it.

If you can get to Phantom speed and fly around the track without constanly hitting the walls it's a pure adrenaline rush.
