No the streaming is free. There may be charge to download tracks and music videos like iTunes but streaming is free. Otherwise it is crap.

rp, do you recommend playing it on PS3 or PSP? i.e which would offer a better gaming experience?

I sold my PSP 2 months ago so my options are limited

Seriously though, the PS1 games look much better on the PSP as the native resolution of PS1 games is much closer to the resolution of a PSP as opposed to most HDTVs. I think it is a closer experience to how the game would have played originally.

PSP all the way if you have a choice.

Meh, back to square one.

Quick thing, if I play it on PSP and save, can I put the save on the PS3 and pick up where I left off, and vice versa?

Doubt it. Worth trying maybe. Anyone who thinks PS1 games look fine running at 720P needs their eyes examining.

Play it on both and straightaway you will see the PSP is a "sharper" experience (due to screen res I mentioned). I don't understand the controller arguement either tbh as the PSP controller is much closer to PS1 controller than a PS3 controller and I am fairly sure FF7 was a not a dualshock/dual analogue type of game.

Do we get Battlefield 1943 today? Anyone buying? Last game I played was on PC and it was called Battlefield 1942 (I think that is the 1st or 2nd version) which was great fun.

1943 is out today on PSN. I might buy it as the PC version is delayed.

Is it the same as xbox 360? Some sort of demo mode and then you pay £10 to buy the game to unlock some more maps etc? Is this the one that starts cheap and you pay for extra maps and weapons and stuff or am I thinking of something else? Obviously there could be paid DLC down the line with any game, but I recall reading about a BF game which would be free and you bought addons etc?

Might have to purchase this but it,s that close to warhawk holding off at the moment to see who gets it on the ps3 .

My fault, I didn't logon in the end. Will do later today I think, I am unlikely to buy this without playing the trial tbh as I have not played a BF game before on console, and not on PC for like 5 years!
