Weekly Playstation Store Update thread

The Lost Planet 2 demo is quite good - there are a couple of extra areas that weren't in the Xbox version and I'm happy to say the game runs quite nicely after the diabolical affair that was Lost Planet: Extreme Condition PS3.

I almost gave up waiting!

I've kept my saves just before I completed the game and all trophies (60+ Hours :D)

Will download this.

I still remember the day i had Fallout 3 DLC as my comment on my PS3 profile that soon got your attention :p:D , i have changed my profile but couldnt resist playing through the whole game again ;) .

Would love to know where to get the GOTY for £20 (voucher inclusive of course)! ;)

Just so you know, the GOTY edition will not work with previous saves from Fallout 3. If you get the GOTY edition you're forced to start over.

EDIT: Did some poking as it looks silly to reject previous saves, but a good friend assures me so. But that's not what Bethesda has to say. Taken from http://fallout.bethsoft.com/eng/info/faq.html

Will my existing Fallout 3 saves be compatible with Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition.
Yes, existing Fallout 3 saves will work fine, though you can also choose to start a new character.

Can't say, but it was £30 and I had a £10 off £100 spend. Just cancelled the other stuff, getting this for £20!

Source? Not what I have read so far, so would like this confirmed. Cheers!

Cheeky, so people trying to save money by not buying the DLC will need to start over

I am seriously considering getting FO3 GOTY, even after playing the PC version and all DLC for well over 100 hours, what is wrong with me :p

I've edited my post with the correct information and a link. It seems my friend was incorrect. I couldn't care less for Fallout 3 myself, but he shal be happy that he doesn't have to play through again.

Couldn't see it mentioned, but Final Fantasy 8 just got released on the Japan PSN (PS3 and PSP)... so high probability we'll get it soon enough.

Just about to post the same link then!

About to get a PS3 - has there been any extras for the "Ratchet and Clank" games?

My son has played all of the avaiable ones on the PS2 and loves the games.....

Ratchet & Clank: Tools Of Destruction can be had pretty cheap now, and also on the PSN Store you can pick up 'Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty' for about £10, but that is only a mini game @ about 3/4 hours, where as 'Tools of Destruction' is a full length game.

There's Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction, then Quest for Booty which is available via the PlayStation Store as a download, which carries on the story of ToD a bit. it's quite short, but if your son likes the games he'll enjoy it.

The latest one, A Crack in Time, comes out next month. :)

You can also get Quest for Booty on BD (disk), as i have it.

Cost me a fiver.
