Poll: Weekly POLL ?

I think there should be a poll only when one is appropriate, regardless of interval. Could be be more than one a week if necessary, and could be less than one a week. Having a poll just because it's a week since the last one seems pointless.

I don't see the point in having one every week. If someone posts a topic and a poll is suitable then one will be added, regardless of when it is posted.

Often when things happen like Big Brother there are tons of threads and people start squabbling who started what first and i thought a weekly poll on a current
event would draw people to a single thread and at least with a poll people can slide around the topic ( no pun intended ) instead of people threads getting deleted by the dons when they say it's gone off topic to the original OP.
