Looking for an answer from an expert or someone who knows there stuff.

I know theres already a thread on this but it seems too far into it, like I don't want to look like the strongest man in the world lol, so I don't want to take any pills for building massive muscles.

Just "tone" up. Basically I did before but then had a serious illness and then really all the muscles on my stomach kind of went loose or something and its now sort of looks like fat in a way, my arms aren't to bad just same story loose muscle I guess well thats what the doctor said, because I didn't exercise for such a long time it just goes relaxed, loose. If anyone can clarify that.

Yeah so I've got the right body size for weight lifting don't worry about that, 6'3 and big (not fat, just like wide shoulder to shoulder span). Legs were always strong as well and seem to be fine but no point in focusing on just one part as I've learned from that other thread. So if anyone gets what im trying to say what do you reconmend at the gym? cause I gotta start going again.

No I already said I read through that but its too in depth like taking pills and all this, not really my thing and I wouldn't want to get into that.

join a gym and ask the instructor to sort a routine for you.

Well tbh they gave me a sheet before, 10 reps of this 10 reps of that, then 10 mins on treadmill, 10 mins on walker etc. But I just want to build myself up. You know, how its meant to be, like proper muscle build and body build to the extent of slim and toned instead of sluggish bag of sleeping muscles lol.

I'll ask again though maybe because it was 2 years ago when I was 15? just still gonna see if their is more replies here though.

Higher reps + Light weight = Muscle toning

The word tone is banned from my vocabulary. There is no such thing. The next person to tell me that they just want to “tone” their muscles I will personally hunt down and beat with a stick.

What people refer to as muscle tone is achieved by low body fat. High reps with low weights will do nothing for the size of your muscles. However routines based around high reps can be beneficial to endurance and thus are useful to some athletes.

You really need to read his guide, it's obvious you haven't or you would realise he is not asking you to take pills.

Do some research and read the information available, don't just rely on others to do it for you.

Nah m8 just wanted someone to set an appropriate routine for me. I know he isn't but his is more like extensive body building for serious body builders.

I posted in the other thread seeing as you asked the mods to delete this one. Best you post anything else in there.

Huh? Taking pills?

Get your sodding facts right theres no nonsense like that in there. I dont think you read it at all.

Erm, i hate to break this to you but if you want to 'tone up' you are actually going to have to work out. Sorry if that sounds a bit too crazy extreme

Nonesense!

Lol, mate if you want those dynamite abs back you'll have to lose the fat. Simple as. Endless situps won't make a difference if you dont lose the fat.

Also losing the fat will help your guns show up better once you've done some curls. The ideal place for those is in the squat rack.

hmm but im not really fat tbh, its just like a building thats standing tall then collapses into a pile, muscles did the same thing, stomach muscles tbh. But okay I'll do other things too then.

Your fat then and are in denile, just do cardio work and eat healthy, once you drop some weight you will be able to do training to build muscle groups, which with less fat with show more predominatly(sp).

Posting a photo would help to gauge that, but chances are, you're fat. If muscle went "slack" it wouldnt work any more.

Seriously im not fat, maybe slightly overweight but im telling you I used to have a flat stomach which was muscle built but after 2 years it like collapsed, same everywhere else nearly, but I don't eat fast food at all tbh, once a year if that on chinese, never mcdonalds/kfc/burger king, never fish and chips. But w.e though fat, overweight w.e I just want advice on it and I will exercise.

K, your the expert, alough define fat, its not like a big belly, its just like err I seriously can't explain it without it sounding too much like "fat" but whatever really, call it fat then but advice on everything then, can you guys post in the other thread about body building to save this one keep on getting bumped.

Can we see a photo so we can settle this and start dispensing advice.

2 years is a lot of fat, especially if you factor in puberty, I'm not trying to put you down or anythning but unless you show a pic to back your self up you are probably overweight but dont want to admit it.
