Weird 6900XT issue

For those of you that helped, thank you. But it appears the issue was my Sound Blaster add-in sound card that I added as my motherboard didn't have S/PDIF Out. I've since discovered that there is a header on the board for an optional S/PDIF interface add-in. That has been installed and no issues for the past week. Very Very Weird. I hope that has fixed it.
 
Going back to an earlier reply, disabling hardware acceleration in a Browser is not any kind of fix.
Things like Google Streetview will look terrible with hardware acceleration turned off.
