I have a really weird issue with AMD SB7xx RAID under Server 2003/2008, it just seems to corrupt the active directory database.
I have tried with two different board models using the SB750 and even with a single drive using the AMD RAID rom you can install 2003 R2 x32 drivers and all which works perfectly until you setup a clean ad at which point after the system is restarted I just get an error stating the active directory database is corrupt. You can then boot into AD restore mode and see that everything is fine bar the AD database which shows errors.
It only appears to happen when using a drive or raid set with the AMD RAID and I have tried various versions of the RAID drivers, it also does the same with 2008 (just hangs on restart after configuring AD).
Any ideas? (apart from don't use the AMD RAID
