Weird booting up issue

I have an Aerocool fan controller that i've been using for a few weeks now without issue but after adding some extra case fans things something a bit weird is now happening.

Until today i just had one fan on each channel but i bought a couple of 3pin cable splitters in order to run 2 fans of each channel. Each channel can handle 6 watts and since each fan is only about 0.15A i thought this would be fine.

However, when turning the PC on it fails to power up but then about 2 seconds later it turns itself on and everything goes normally. Is this something to worry about?

Thanks

You mean it spins everything up for about 20s. Stops. Then proceeds to 'boot' normally?
Gigabyte boards tend to do this on cold boots if you're running out of spec settings in the bios.

No it doesn't spin up or anything. I hit the power button, fans and LED light begin to spin but not for more than 1 second before the power cuts. It then tries again all by itself and boots normally.
