Weird ATI CCC problem.

Hi dudes. I updated my ATI drivers for the bf3 beta a couple of weeks ago (whichever the most up to date from ati's site were at the time), and since then I've had an on and off flicker on both of my monitors. Finally I'd had enough, read around a little and was pointed in the direction of these 'Rage Performance Drivers', I do intend to play rage, so it made sense.
Anyway, I did a full uninstall, driversweep and drivercleanerpero thingy, rebooted, installed, rebooted etc. Flickering gone (yaaay), but I have a bit of an issue. Everything is fine aside from the Catalyst Control Centre UI, which I can't view..
When I launch CCC this is what i get:

Any ideas what this could be?. I've updated visual c++/DX, no joy..

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hmm strange. Have you tried removing/reinstall C++ Redist. and perhaps .NET as well? Not sure if that will help. I know during the driver install it does install C++ 2010 AFAIK.

When the driver is extracted, have you tried running the CCC part of the install again? ..\Packages\Apps\CCC2 I think is the location.

Weird!

EDIT: Just saw you mention C++ already. D'oh!

Well tbh the C++ install failed with the driver install. I did it again today and sure enough it failed again, and if I try to install/update from the MS website etc, no dice, it says I have the latest version. However, there's a good chance it's C++ related, I shall see, and also re-install CCC :). Cheers for the reply.
