Weird Email from Amazon

Hmmm. Not really. It does have some Amazon stuff in it, but theres a bit at the start that looks a bit iffy.
But if I go onto the Amazon website separately from the email and go to the sellers account page it says " Sorry, you are not an authorized Seller Central user", so I dunno if that's cause I've never opened a seller account or cause they've blocked me.

Obvious phishing attempt. You don't have anything seller based with Amazon....
Same with ones that purport to be from your bank asking for your log on details.

These emails always have spelling mistakes, etc. and this one is no different:
If this was a real Amazon email, that wouldn't be there.
Report it as spam and if I was you, I'd change your Amazon password.

Looks like a scam, and that is too generic. Looking around I would expect to see this on the email:

Why do you have any doubt in your mind that this is a phishing attempt? I thought we had a higher standard of member here...

I wouldnt hold your breath. Email content is obviously a poor phising attempt but seeing the sender email the word 'Amazon' in it, could confuse a lot of people. Surely this nothing more than what a quick call to the help desk would resolve. I'd also be changing your Amazon password sharpish and running an AV/malware scan on your systems.

I did say I was reasonably certain I was being hoaxed. Didn't think there was any harm in posting here. I wont bother in future.
