Has someone been harvesting emails from here? I had this earlier

I suppose you may have found your way here due to receiving an email informing you about this place, well, first things first, "WE" did not send out that mail. The second myth I'd like to clear up is that this is NOT a hate site that much, just a site full of racists who smell a bit.

I haven't received it, although my friend who is banned from here did.

He was telling me about some scandal where someone supposedly harvested emails from here quite some time ago. Bit daft really!

I can see this being locked though!

Lots of people recieved these emails earlier on in the year, I thought it would have been over by now..

I believe thats true, I seem to remember hearing about someone who made a script to harvest all the emails from the Trust feature, and then got banned.
I might have just heard that wrong though, it apparently happened before I signed up.

I didn't get it... but then I've recently changed my email in trust!!... so that might explain it!!..

I think it's sad that someone is so desperate to recruit members to another site that they need to trawl through our Trust system to gather email addresses or maybe it's just to cause a big stir in their fruitless loins, desperate but not really surprising.
