Youtube works, but videos on the BBC and BBC iplayer just isn't showing up at all.

I know this doesn't help, but I'm finding Flash to be a bigger and bigger pain in the arse. Not only do selective websites work in Opera or I.E.7, but different ones work depending on the version installed. Some want 10, some what 9. It's annoying.
well, i installed the newest one last night after facebook asked it to, now BBC site won't work ! surely it is backwards compatible !

You'd have thought so, but I'm guessing somehow along the line it isn't

I have this too, and I have no idea what we're meant to do to get round this, aside from uninstalling etc, and that has had no effect. Even went back to Flash Player 9 and the problem still remains.

Hah! You as well Mondo. Just got this yesterday with Opera 10.00 Beta. iPlayer works fine for me. Everything works in Firefox so I discounted Flash as the culprit.
I do know that the BBC have changed the news.bbc.co.uk site so that there aren't set UK and International versions of the site. I think this is what is causing the problem.

This was nothing to do with Flash. BBC Site had javascript errors all night and the videos didnt work for anyone.
EDIT: This is it http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/06/12/iplayer_downtime/ so nothing to do with Flash at all and a failure at the BBC end.
