I've been having a strange problem with Google Maps (and Flashearth) for the last 24 hours now.
I can view anywhere in the world quite happily using the normal map view and the terrain view. However as soon as I switch to "satellite" view it has a think and then the viewing window/map area fills with grey boxes apologising and telling me to zoom out. It doesn't matter where in the world I'm trying to view or at what zoom level I always get the same result every time.
The same happens with flashearth. I can quite happily view anywhere using the different map providers but as soon as I selected "Google Maps" it fills with grey boxes.
I've tried clearing my cache and different browsers with no result.
Anyone got any suggestions?
