Weird Graphics problem on Flight Sim X

Imagine my disappointment after install.

Geforce 6800 graphics (latest whql drivers) on the new Flight Sim X Demo are totally screwed up. The only visible graphics are some of the foreground objects (like the plane itself in the little preview window) but the rest of the screen is either black or uniform light blue!

All other 3d games working just fine.

Any ideas on this one?
