weird happenings with ssd

so i've installed a new 128GB samsung 830 ssd, and cloned my old hdd using macrium reflect. i can now boot from the ssd, but if i disconnect the old hhd, i get logged onto a temporary user, and then told that E:\windows\system32\newdev doesn't exist. i assume this is because all programs appear to run from my old drive (C.

Any ideas how i could run them from my new ssd?

also, now my old hdd is making awful crunching and whining noises when i go on the internet...

Just disconnect the HDD, do a clean install of Windows on your SSD. then copy over any info you need from your old HDD while it still works.
