Hi,
Just last night I had a bluescreen and Im now starting to wonder if one of my hard drives is failing...
Basically I was using photoshop and unzipping an archive using 7zip, and this archive was quite large, about 4 gb. In photoshop I have set it to use 3 scratch disks, one on each of my hard drives. CPU usage was about 15% at the time, but I could see my mouse struggling to move in photoshop at times, and was jerking about randomly at times.
Then suddenly I had a bluescreen.
The HD's seem fine but after reading the issues with seagate drives and 7200.11 drives Im now concerned.
Could what I witnessed be the begins of a HD failure? Anyone else had a similar experience? Or is this more likely to be an issue with the motherboard?
Also just to add, I can run intelburntest and prime for hours, days even, and all is stable. I cant reproduce this error, even after it crashed I repeated everything above and this time there were no bluescreens or problems.
