Weird issue after moving PC

Oh that's good,I didn't spot the second part about 12month/100 posts

They are good psu's,nice n quiet plus have 5 year warranty if you register it

Yeah it looks it, and hey at least I can get that second gtx 670 I always wanted, can I just double check that it has to be ordered by 5pm tomorrow(Tuesday) to receive it Weds? Thanks again.

I only say this because basics can be missed, and i've not seen them mentioned at all.

Seriously don't mean to be patronizing, it happens:

Have you flicked the switch on the back of the PSU (separate on / off to the case / wall power)

Just take a look inside and check the cable isn't loose for your case power button.
(Or motherboard power, if mobo isn't connecting to psu it wouldn't work obviously XD)

Otherwise gl with new psu

hmm it's strange lol same thing happened to me but was a larger distance when I moved back to uni PSU was gone poop, luckily Corsair have a very fast RMA service :)

Hey thanks for the concerns, and yup did all of the above, 3 difference power leads, unplugging all the power cables and putting back in etc, including the starter switch ones.

Sounds likely, don't you even get an led on the board that lights up?

Nope =[ ,so I guess now I need a new board and I'll RMA that as well as the psu, that way they can replace whichever one is faulty.

So what mobo to order from ocuk

cpu: i5 3570k
need 4 slots for mem, pref 2 gpu slots for future sli(have a 670gtx atm), and right size for antec 300 gaming case

that's bad news, something must have shorted when you moved it? idk

gigabyte ud3h or d3h might suit you,not sure what the pci-e speeds are for two slots

ud5 is another choice

you can return the psu within 14 days if unopened and get a refund

Annoying news lol, the z77x-d3h is what I have atm, maybe there is something new with the similar price range that i paid for that originally? Of course I could just get the exact same one again? I'll spend the same £100 on this to *dies inside*

somethings happened as they don't just die like that

best thing is gigabyte rma service is fast, youll have to send to Milton Keynes and usually takes 1 to 2 weeks to get a working board back

you could go down the asus route of coarse but should things go wrong their rma service sucks

im using a gigabyte z77x up4 th atm and its been fine

Yup, literally all i did, was unplug the thing at the wall, and move the desk not even 2 metres, the only thing i can think of, is that the switch may of been down at the wall(don't think it was) and it somehow shorted it when i took it out?

I'll sort the rma's out after, right now I just want to get it working again? I'll stick with gigabyte, the question is, the same bored or could i afford to get a better one? (£100)
