I've seen it done a different way. Saw it explained on that "Masked Magician" show that was TV a while back. He did tricks and then explained them. Quite cool.

Yes, but notice how he helps her lie down, making sure the midget on top never toppled over.

A very good trick anyway, especially if you were standing in the crowd :)
 
just seen a few of criss angel videos, was wondering how htey work?

would like to know how the walking through glass, and levitating building to building works. also how he walks on water, but i assume its the same as levitating
 
It's totally obvious how it's done.

The camera cuts away in between the woman lying down and when she is pulled apart. Once the camera is tuned off the switch is done. One person (the legs) lie part obscured by the skirt through the fake bench. The top half of the body is a different woman obviously who has no legs. Her arms are shorter and look at her face....different person.

At the moment the top half is pulled off the camera cuts again to allow the legs to be changed so they can be shown raising up. Then another cut so we see the feet again using the hole in the banch to hide the person.

no, the trick is for the crowd ,not us the viewer. they could not switch people in between cuts for obvious reasons .

Personally I didn't think the Masked Magician gave anything away except for the tricks they do in Workingmens Clubs.
 
Yeah that's set up, saw it ages back. It's a midget women, but with no legs. Think I saw her on tv once she gave birth, or something. But, the her feet were still moving :eek:
