getting very annoyed with my bed as the matress keeps rolling up every time i plunk my butt on the bed which makes it very uncomfortab;e when igo to sleep.

my mum seems to think there is something i can get to stop it doing it but neither of us know the name of it. I have searched for matress sheet ties with no luck so turning here to my bestest pals to help me out.

anyone know of anything that i can use to keep my mattress nice and tightly tied down?

btw i dont tihnk it will make a difference but i have a circle bed

what exactly is a mattress sheet? One that goes directly on the mattress? I thought they had elasticated corners for lazy people like me.

Or is it an incontinence sheet, to keep the mattress dry?

You can buy special clips that hold in place....hang on *goes off to google*

edit:- heres the link to the sort of thing I was on about

Might be worth trying a baby shop, because some people have them on their babies cots to stop the sheet moving when the baby wriggles.

the same happens to me every night. I have a fitted sheet with elasticated corners but it never stops in place

Heh, sheets with elasticated corners always remind me of those 'comfortable' trousers "with elasticated waist!" aimed at more mature people in the back of newspaper magazines :D

Hehehe....

*goes and changes his sheets to real sheets that need tucking in.*

:D

Just don't wriggle at night/get someone to tie you down at night, that wya you won't wriggle and it won't move....or just sleep on the floor.

*takes the belt off his bed and puts elasticated sheets on*

Ha ha, i've honestly never had a problem with sheets, it's a kingsize memory foam matress I bought some oversized elastic sheets and I tuck them under the matress, never really come off.

Oh my LAWD this annoys the hell out of me too!

I'm in student accomodation and I'm sure the matress we have is a strange size as my sheet only just fits over it.

Every single night it will pop up and I'll have to feel the horrible rough matress material on my skin :p It's a right effort doing a movement that looks like a mating seal to get it back again, and by then you're out of breath and fully awake!

Very annoying but also quite amusing at the same time :p

Tuck it in under the mattress. :p

you can tuck it under the top mattress bit but that actually makes it worse as the sheet is too big to tuck under the amtress but not big enough to tuck under the base.

I use little elastic clips on the corners of my sheets. I think I got them from Betterware or somewhere.

Everyone slates those magazines but there is *always* something in there that you didnt realise you needed, like slip on shoe covers. I mean, where would we be without those??? with dirty carpets, thats where!

I believe you can get clips which hold the sheets tight but I think you could probably use nappy pins (the big safety pins). Put one on each corner on the underside of the mattress to hold the sheet in place.
