Weird outlook display problem?

I'm getting a strange problem in Outlook 2003. see link below:-

half of the text is missing on the left hand menu panle!!!!

Has anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this and/or how to fix it?

p.s. I was just going to display the image here but the insert image button wasnt working?

Never had seen that problem before.

If you click Help, Detect and Repair, it re-installs outlook, and goes back to default settings, that may fix the problem, but make a back up of your calendar and emails first.

Cool thanks - I didnt know you could do that, I normally uninstall and then reinstall if i get a problem.

I ran through the detect and repair and it looked fixed, but then when I restarted Outlook I got exactly the same problem again!!!

Any other ideas?
