Weird PC problem

tried every suggestion but no luck, i had no issue for 3 days, but now its started again. I had my CSGO crash the other day, to desktop then i had bugged sound looping constantly.
Tonight the PC locked up (still hear sound in background but cant do anything) hard reset, literally few minutes in crash again! It did that like 4 times :(

I dont think it has anything to do with the mouse, deffo a hardware problem somewhere i just dont know what! Its making me want to upgrade but i really dont want to as i think my pc has enough left in it for now! plus no funds!

what did event viewer say?

Hmm there was quite a lot of random stuff,

The Peer Networking Grouping service depends on the Peer Name Resolution Protocol service which failed to start because of the following error:
%%-2140993535

i had that quite often under system around the time. Its the only thign that jumps out to me.

That doesn't sound related.

Try an integrity check.

go to CMD prompt and type in sfc/scannow

You may need to run it as administrator for it to work. There is a possibility that you have corrupt files. Not sure what else it might be

Also with the problem that has arisen regarding the Peer Networking Group, you may need to delete a file.

I did some research and they are saying to delete this file and it will be recreated as it's most likely it's corrupt.

"C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking\idstore.sst"

Have you tried any other mice and keyboards in your computer?

Do you have any spare lying around?

Have you tried resetting all the settings in the bios so all overclocking is removed?

I'm running out of suggestions :P

I posted this :

it froze at 18 minutes on test 10? Didnt go anywhere for 15 minutes so i quit to come check.. is that normal? im guesssing not. There were no errors though.

regarding that further up, should i try it again?

I saw that, so are you saying you only actually ran the test for 18 minutes?

Try one stick at a time and get at least 3 passes on each one.

Not used memtest in a while but maybe try a different version if it keeps crashing.

One thing I would suggest though is testing one of the sticks in each DIMM slot and then you can guarantee it's not any of the slots.

Hey, So to update, memtest kept crashing, even with one stick. So i raged and bought new pc parts (i wanted to upgrade anyway) . Got a new CPU,mobo, ram and another crucial ssd (256g) + windows 8.1 to start a fresh. However like 15 mins after installing everything it crashed again (i raged even more). BUT im assuming this means its probably my old crucial SSD, so i formatted it, and installed windows on my new SSD instead. So if it happens again now im kind of out of options haha. Im guessing maybe after 3 and a half years my SSD just got faulty? if it is that!
