Weird pixel problem, help!

this is the issue I'm having, random bits of screen shifting/ generally spazzing around every now and again. I've had the issue a fair while I've just been too lazy, I think I've even reinstalled gpu drivers and still had the problem.

anyone know what this is and any fixes?

It seems to be in the same place I'm realising, could it be the monitor?

Looks like gpu memory failing, it will always be in the same place because of the way frames are stored on the chip.
However saying that it could also be memory somewhere in the monitor?
Try a different monitor or screen if you can.

Hang on is that a screenshot? If so definitely the graphics card.

And I would also say its not always the exact same spot, but it seems to be recurring in similar areas.

Thats a graphics card problem not monitor by the looks of it.

Watch a movie or play a game does it happen then?

Yeah it happens when I'm playing games as well, its extremely irregular though.

Monitors do alter characters only graphics cards do.

Deffo graphics card.

Can you try it with a different card?

Try down clocking your graphics card memory.

I could, but wouldn't really know if it had worked or not, for example it hasn't happened all day today.

Would OcUk be able to offer a replacement?
