Weird problem or ?...faster on wireless than connecting via ethernet.

i have 2 pcs. 1 in my room for a HTPC and a gaming one in my dining room.
The pc upstairs has a wireless PCI card which is 100% perfect but iv noticed DL speeds are faster on that than my gaming pc what is connected to my router via Ethernet port...

Is there something wrong? should i buy a wireless PCI card for my gaming pc and scrap the Ethernet wire? Because i would LOVE 900kb/s on my gaming pc when downloading mods etc.

Could be a whole host of things to be honest, how/what are you downloading, if it's a torrent then does your client and the router support uPNP? Do you have the same AV software installed on both? Have you tried disabling the AV temporarily to see if it improves things?
