Weird problem with F1 2010

Hi, I just installed F1 2010 played it for a little while on max settings fine.

Then I decided to install a mod the 2011 one which worked fine at first but I noticed I was one of the max AA so I put it up but then the screen went black, I have tried uninstalling the Mod, Deleting my hardware config which worked at first but when I went back on it I turned my AA back to what it was before and then it happened again :confused:

Now I am back where I started and deleted the hardware config isn't working now.

I might of had I just put my preset to Ultra?

so it might have been that but why would it still do it after the mod has been installed?

Will post processing make the game look much worse?

It gets to the start screen then after that goes blank, Will try what you said.

I re-install the mod and try that save fix as well.

New problem When I press start it just freezes but I can hear the sounds in the background like I am in the menus.

Seems a bit of a hassle to install it all again.

This is what happens any chance you can talk screen shots of the your F1 Menu and The graphics menu so I can maybe get to it while the screen is black?

Ok turns out the problem is when I turn the AA up high? :confused:

Trying it now. My Multisampling works at that level you have it but any higher and the game does what I have explained.

I can get 8xQSAA or something and 16xCSSA or what ever then it does that, Suppose 8xMSAA is still pretty sharp.

Ok so installing the mod made me lose half my screen again!

Uninstalling it re-fixed it though, It might be because I am trying to install Weather and Lighting Mods with it as well?

I am trying the cars on there own first now then if it works fine will add the next one etc
