Weird question (speed cameras)

More legal than torching it I'd imagine.

edit: and if your planning on speeding past it, make sure you cover the right part up ;)

another weird question regarding speed cameras..

now that they have decided that "forward facing" cameras to take a shot of the front of the car are a good idea...
what happens with motorbikes that dont have number plates on the front? which is the majority if i'm right!

They don't get a ticket :o

Probably the same law that stops you stealing traffic cones and such, as well as laws such as being a 'public nuisance', impeding police work etc...

i always thought this idea would work best:
  • 2 guys in the back of your car as passengers, each with loaded semi-auto paintball guns.
  • late at night (say 3-4am) drive up to these cameras, slow down to walking pace (obviously when theres no other traffic about), load a few paint rounds into the camera lens and flash part, then drive off.
each "drive-by" would only take about 5 seconds or so, provide u know all the locations you can take out dozens of cameras in one night :D

I know you're kidding but there isn't any point in vandalising speed cameras. They'll only be out of action temporarily and it will end up costing the taxpayer money to fix, and the police will be wasting their time doing that which they can't spend responding to crime (in theory - no I don't mean crime like someone doing 31mph in a 30 limit).

agreed, you make a good point. didn't really think about its implications due to its non-serious nature but i understand nonetheless :)
