I'm all up for seeing them wrecked, and the notion that it creates work for the police when they are damaged is laughable! When a gatso gets broken, do you really think they send out a copper and his toolbag to sort it?
PinkPig said:Why would vandalism be "tenuous"? You've damaged the speed camera to the extent that it doesn't work anymore, there isn't much of a question about it.
Not a chance! You're suggesting that the police actively investigate crimesM0T said:No but they send a copper out to try and catch who did it because they don't want a load of expensive equipment being damaged by people that can't be bothered to do the decent thing and learn the location of the things![]()

Believe it or not, I actually have a great deal of respect for the police. Just not the policy makers who make it harder for the bobbies on the beat to do their jobs. The police service in my area are nothing short of useless, but I couldn't hold it against the individual officers.M0T said:I know its all cool to hate on the police but round here they are nothing but useful.
They turned up within 5 minutes when we were being threatened by a group of chavs, they are always in force in the local towns when theres violence, They always arrive at the scene of accidents very quickly and generally I see them about a fair bit so I feel safe.
