Earlier today, I stripped an external drive of its caddy, and installed it in my desktop. I used a SATA 6gb cable, and tried to connect it to the relevant port - no dice. I moved it to the second one on that block, still nothing.
However, it now works, but only when connected to a different block. Is this a SATA 6GB incompatibility with the hard drive, or is there something wrong with that portion of the motherboard? The drive that came with the desktop (Titan Spinosaur, day-of-release build, if it matters) doesn't work when attached to that block either.
