Weird Sattelite

I think I noticed this too last night walking the dog but put it down to some weather thing causing the flickering, pretty weird though as it was the only one doing it.
 
Sounds like it could be Saturn. Stars twinkle more towards the horizon but panets rarely twinkle. [edit for not reading ahead. It is Sirius]
If you saw the ISS tonight you also saw the docked shuttle and 2 astronaughts at work.

Its up there tonight. I'm looking out my window in Cathays, Cardiff looking in some direction (not sure) and can see it dead clearly
 
Hmm just went out to the shop to get some cigs for myself, as i was alking back i looked up at the sky, its quite nice and clear and i saw something very bright shoot across extremely extremely quick...i only caught a glimpse of it and it was extremely bright. Came home and mentioned it to my mum who said something about a meeor shower that was reported on the news today ie they were asking if anyone had caught it on videotape or something and to get in touch.

But i dont think it was a meteor but then ive never seen one in real life so what do i know lol:p.

Now im trying to figure out what the hell was that white bright light that absolutely screamed across the sky...i live in London by the way...and it was about 10 mins ago if thats any help:p.

Anyone know??...im thinking its either the space shuttle or the ISS??..or maybe my eyes playing tricks on me...i am kinda old :p

That was more than likely the ISS.
 
I see it, southish from my house. Flickering red/blue/green I think, eyesights not brilliant though :D

Definately stationary, too.

Really??..wow thats cool...ive seen satellites before and they dont move as fast as this thing did...but saying that i checked on the sightings link for nasa and checked against todays date but nothing showing for 10pm onwards...if anything both shuttle and iss were meant to be seen at around 7pm earlier tonight...

But if it was the ISS then thats just cool....hmmm gonna go and see if it comes around again. Damn ive never seen anything move so fast:eek:
 
It is Sirius !!!!

I have just been viewing Saturn in my garden, I could also see 3 of its moons, maybe 4 and the Casini Division.

I see that too, flickering and looks blue-ish to me...seen mars as well but then i see that every night:p.
