Right i dont know if i am going crazy, but i keep seeing Gman walking around in the distance.

For instance, i had just shot down the chopper from the airboat and went up into that bulinding on the hill, turned the corner and saw a man in a blue suit and breficase walk behind a wall.

Ive seen him a few other times as well?

Is this a known "Easter egg" or am i a deranged phsycopath (sp???)

Help me please!!

I haven't even played HL2 through totally yet and I know it's quite obviously meant to be there :p

He annoyed me greatly in HL1, I really, really needed to shoot him.
 
Ahhh ok, never played HL1, was before my time:eek:

I saw him and thought, "Doo dee doo. Eh? Was that Gman?? Im going crazy, time to turn this game off!"

I played it on hard all the way up to ravenholm in one stint today so i thought that my mind had like merged with the game =D
 
yeah i notice if you keep on pressing the esc key it goes to the menu ok.
The problem i'm having now is actually playing the game it comes up with the "hl2.exe has stopped working" error.. mainly when loading a section of the level.
Happens in EP1 as well. Not sure if it's a vista problem
 
When I got to the same place I jumped up there and saw him walk around a corner in the distance, later I died and when I came back he was standing at the railing looking into the canal, close enough for a crowbar.

Sad news guys, he's completely impervious to harm and doesnt even respond to a simple "use" command :(

Nobody but the game designers know for sure yet.

My theory is that the Gman is the leader of a galactic equivalent of the UN, when one race gets too big for its boots he steps in and intervenes.

In this case the combine are becoming too powerful so he is using certain key humans (Gordon, Eli and Alyx are the only confirmed ones so far) in order to cripple the combine. I don't think he's trying to help earth, it's just merely the battle ground he has chosen for his stand against them.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! Dont post anything about Ep 1 or 2 here please, im going to complete HL2 again then go buy the orange box for Ep1 + 2 :D

eh? please explain your most probable witty explanation

isn't g-man just gordans mind, i mean his own personal image of himself, like neo in the matrix, because the guy never speaks, or sees himself in the mirror, and kills f-loads of things, he must be psychologically screwed?
