I often stumble across 1337 o clock. Also 11:11 is another one I see more often than I statistically should.

It's also weird that nearly everyone says "What's the time?" out loud, just before looking at their wristwatch.

Weird.
I'm always looking at the clock and then around the hour or half hour I may switch channels on the TV to another program or I may press record on my HD recorder.

I do the same, its a documented phenomenon because I was quite "freaked out" by it too.

Some years ago my daughter was on a school trip and I was a bit concerned about her safety. We have a digital clock that projects onto the ceiling.

I woke up suddenly and looked at the time and it appeared to be

LEH

which are the initials of her school. I immediately went into panic mode thinking that a message about her was coming from Himself !

I then realised that my wife had turned the clock display inverted and the time was 1137
