weird transaction on statement

Anyone heard of ccbill.com?? Am Pr XXX XXXXXX US been charged £14.27 by them for some reason.

Im guessing its because ive bought something from the US ?? But i dont remember buying anything.

If you have a transaction on your billing statement that refers to www.ccbill.com, you have purchased a subscription from a web site that uses CCBill for its billing services.

!!!! wtf . I havent been visiting any dodgy websites though!

got their email address so i could email them with the details?

If i cant figure out what its for ill tell the bank my account has been hijacked/defrauded. Try to get some kind of refund or smt.

ccbill is predominantly used for porn sites...or so I have been reliably informed.

Mind as many will post who pays for porn these days?

Contact your bank as chances are you will need a new credit card / bank account due to fraud. Sucks but it happens. Should be a fairly straightforward process.

Go to your bank directly - they should have dedicated teams to help recover you as a customer.

Plus credit card details get sold so its possible more than one person has them.

You don't but logic states that if you had subscribed to child porn you would not go running to your bank to say "oh look I have just signed up to child porn"

apparently it was for something purchased in USD27.95 just recently last week!

- cancelled card. Bank says no problem with getting money back. Reported to Fraud department.

Im usually pretty careful with providing my bank details online :/ Maybe time to get a personal shredder also.

Porn is awesome. You may as well get what you paid for.

On a serious note, I had some fraudulant activity on my card recently and I got all of the money back within about 2 weeks
