Weird VCore help

Hi all,

I started to overclock my I& 8700k yesterday and have run into what seems to me to be a weird vcore issue in HWMonitor.
I don't think I did too well in the silicone lottery so I have settled on a nice steady 4.8 gig after starting at 5 and 1.35v and having issues with Prime95 crashing the system.
All appeared normal until I noticed after I had dropped the voltage the last time down to 1.285 the vcore minimum reading now says 0.640, the value hovers around 1.280 with the max around 1.296 which seem ok its just the very low... low reading that concerns me as I thought they were supposed to be similar.
In cam they read fine but throughout my overclock at previous settings HWMonitor never displayed this discrepancy!

This is probably just Intel's power management dropping the core voltage/clocks down when not under load, my 4770k does it too and it's normal. Desirable in fact in terms of CPU lifespan. As long as the voltages are all as they should be when under load then it's fine.
