Weird Vista internet problem.

I did a online virus scan on nod32's website earlier today, Found a few bits it did not like the look of and removed them, However since that happened my internet has been acting very odd...All browsers and programs which use the internet have stopped working claiming I am not connected, Except IE7 64-Bit, Which works normally...Really weird.

Anyone know how to fix this? Really don't want to do another reinstall

Vista HP 64-Bit btw.

I got this problem and managed to fix it by following some steps on another forum. I also posted about it on here in a reply to a similar thread.

Thanks for the suggestion, Tried but it seems to have made no difference

Reading through that thread though it seems nod32 does like messing with some of vistas internet settings...I will look into this further and see if there is a solution.

Fixed, I tried a variant of the command suggested, netsh winsock reset. Now everything seems fine again :eek:

It's weird how only 64 bit apps work though, i was so confused when it happened to me!
