Hi guys,

Just installed Vista HP 32bit on my mums PC, and while setting it up for her and installing software the mouse has started acting very weird.

Basically it was working perfectly normally, then after a restart the vertical axis has just reversed itself. Horizontal is perfectly normal.

I have looked at mouse options until my eyes bleed, I've also tried ease of access centre and any other settings I thought it could possily be hidden it. And so far i've found no option to either reverse the mouse, or un-reverse it.

The only software so far installed it Office 2007 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook) and iTunes. Other than a few sidebar gadgets from the MS site and the available windows/office updates it's a perfectly fresh install.

Please someone, end my misery and tell me how to fix this one. :D

Haven't got an answer on this I'm afraid but I installed the logitech software for my MX1000 the other day and decided I didn't like the way it was acting so took it off after a few days, well since then everytime I reboot my mouse pointer motion speed goes back to default and enhance point position box unticks itself?

Summits not right?

Hmm

P.S.

Just another point.

It's a microsoft wireless mouse and keyboard set, using vista's bundled drivers. In case it makes any difference.

Problem solved.

Although I just couldn't work it out, my mother just got in, took out the batteries, put 'em back in and it worked.

Sods law really, you never think of the obvious solution.
